I give in. I still think that if it was shot in color it should stay color, but sometimes I just can't decide. In this case, I think monochrome is better.

My computer problems have been continuing. A couple of weeks ago S. reminded me that there was a backup copy of my HD taken the summer of 2008 when he fixed my computer in the UK, and it was hidden on a partition on my HD. I was so thrilled to be able to "fix" things! So he talked me through the process to do that.
But I forgot to back up my files before I leaped ahead. I have lost a lot of things, but most important, I've lost all my photos from my 2008 UK trip and all the photos taken from then to now.
How could I be so stupid?
Looked into a software that could retrieve my deleted photos, if they haven't already been written over. Problem is, I need a second computer to run the software and save any files, and I need to "slave" it to my laptop. Yeah. Not going to happen.
I am gutted.
